Founder Carissa Lake swapped her high-pressure career in financial markets for flour, butter icing, and fun. In 2004, she began selling cupcakes at the Entertainment Quarter markets — and they quickly became the talk of the town. One stall turned into a flagship store in Waverley, and today, The Cupcake Princess is a go-to for joyful desserts and unforgettable memories.
